TalentKode partners with Youth Sport Trust

Denver-based creator of TopYa! app expands to Great Britain

DENVER, CO TalentKode, which developed TopYa!, the first ever COPPA-compliant, mobile-based video challenge sport platform for young people, has recently partnered with the Youth Sport Trust. The Youth Sport Trust is an independent charity in the United Kingdom that is dedicated to helping young people meet their full potential through high quality physical education and sport.

The Youth Sport Trust runs a variety of PE and sport programs in schools across the UK. With almost 3,000 member schools, the Youth Sport Trust also sponsors multiple programs and initiatives, including National School Sport Week, a UK-wide initiative within the Trust delivery network that included 6,500 schools, or 2.7 million young people.

“Our parternship with the Youth Sport Trust helps us reach more young people, and helps us reach them not only at school, but at home,” says Jason Keller, managing partner of TalentKode. “Young people will already be on their mobile devices at home, so TopYa! embraces that technology and inspires them to use it to get off the couch and get active.”

TopYa! has inspired thousands of young people of all athletic levels and abilities to pursue physical activity. Using skill and creativity, users have logged over 100,000 extra hours of time on practice beyond what they’ve done in school PE or in sport practice.

Jason Brightman, Head of Commercial for Youth Sport Direct, the commercial side of Youth Sport Trust, says, “We’re delighted to have formed a partnership with TalentKode. Innovation is vitally important in a world where technology is growing rapidly and this is a fantastic way to engage with schools and young people. Embracing and embedding this technology within education is an exciting challenge and we look forward to working with them to achieve this."

TopYa! is available to the public, but all Youth Sport Trust member schools will be able to receive Youth Sport Trust-specific content through TopYa!, and have the option to create and use school curriculum-specific content that will positively affect impact of school premium. For anyone attending the 3 March 2016 Youth Sport Trust Conference, the TopYa! Summer Holiday @home Activity Package will be available at a discount. The package is a great way to inspire young people to get active during the summer, and gives teachers video-based evidence of activity throughout the holiday period.

TopYa! is available for download on the App Store and Google Play. For more information, contact Khaleelah Jones at or visit
