Denver, 2/08/2017 – Colorado Crossroads announced today that it has partnered with TopYa! Volleyball as the Official Mobile Coaching App for its 2017 tournament held on March 4-6 and 10-12 at the Colorado Convention Center.
Crossroads is the first volleyball tournament to work with TopYa, a mobile video-based skill training and freestyle challenge sports platform that also is centered in Denver. The app provides interaction with a variety of sports, inspiring kids around the world to get active with sports. After great success with soccer, lacrosse, and martial arts, TopYa! is now expanding to include volleyball.
"TopYa! is an amazing platform for allowing coaches and kids to interact in a way that extends a player’s contact time with the ball in their own home or backyard and provides coaching feedback that is specific for athletes. We are delighted to partner with a Colorado company that is growing exponentially in the important world of helping kids stay active," Kay Rogness, Tournament Director said.
The program will reach volleyball players and coaches across the country, combining youth development and technology to inspire and engage athletes to spend more time being active playing volleyball while giving coaches the ability to instruct outside of practice.
TopYa! first began its volleyball journey with the Front Range Volleyball Club, the hosting organization of Colorado Crossroads. "TopYa! is excited to be working with the Front Range Volleyball Club on a pilot program in Q1 of 2017 in anticipation of a larger rollout that will kick-off during the Colorado Crossroads event," said Jason Keller, Managing Partner and co-founder of TopYa!
